Overview of Texas Aerial Robotics, aka TAR, and this Wiki

What is TAR?

Texas Aerial Robotics is a student-led engineering organization at the University of Texas at Austin sponsored under the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics.

We are a multidisciplinary team of primarily undergraduate students from majors such as CS, ASE, ECE, MechE, and more. Our club focuses on aerial robot research and projects whether it is for competition or for the fun of learning. Our clubs goal is to provide a facility for students to gain valuable engineering skills and project experience through working on autonomous aerial systems.

Aerial Robotics is not an light subject, but our philosophy here at TAR is "You get out what you put in." That is "The TAR State of Mind".

What is this Wiki for?

The purpose of this wiki is to document our guides, workshops, workflow, and general information across all of our sub-teams -- such as Hardware, Software, and Business & Marketing. As this knowledge base grows, we hope this will provide very useful information for the future leads and members of TAR.
